Mental Health Housing Advice
The Neptune Project is a specialist housing advice service which works with individuals experiencing mental ill health who are homeless or in housing need.

Money Advice
Clients to this service are identified and referred by our Neptune Project workers. Following referral, the Money Adviser and the client follow this procedure::
- Full details of the client's financial situation are recorded
- Client signs letter of authorisation
- Creditors are contacted for details of debt
- Income is checked to ensure that all possible benefits are being received
- All housing costs, including rent arrears, are sorted as soon as possible
- When replies have been received from all creditors the next step of action will be discussed
- If possible, offers of repayment of debt are made to creditors
- Arrangements will be made to ensure any necessary follow-up action is taken
- If the situation is difficult, alternative actions are discussed to suit each client
